History

The History of Genesis Pool began with Dan, who has been involved in the swimming pool industry for more than 35 years. His family has owned and operated one the longest running swimming pool companies in Northern California.  

From a young age, Dan was intricately involved in the family business and as he entered this teens, he became increasingly more involved in the installation, renovation, and repair sides of the business. Dan gained invaluable experience on all aspects of waterscape construction as well as solar technology, electrical circuitry, computer installation/repair. After college, Dan discovered he really enjoyed the swimming pool business and returned to it and this is where he began to really he honed his craft.  He is now considered an expert in numerous categories and serves as product specialist with certifications from many of the industry's chemical and equipment manufacturers. In 1987, Dan decided to start his own business and obtained a General Swimming Pool Builder’s Contractor's License and Genesis Pool was born.

Initially doing subcontractor work for other pool builders, Dan built and diversified his business to also include service, repair, pool inspections, pool renovations, and of course, new swimming pool construction.  "Although I’ve literally grown up in this business, there is always something new to learn and I enjoy expanding my knowledge," says Dan. "It’s also important for my customers and clients to get the very latest information and services." Dan has experience in the areas of water hydraulics, chemistry, structural engineering, electronics, fiber optics and more.

Genesis Pools has over 35 years of extensive experience in the swimming pool industry and is a full service swimming pool company offering new waterscape design, installation, renovation, repair and service.   Genesis Pool is excited to offer new CAD based computer graphics and imagery for new pool construction and remodeling.
